Compatibility

Made for the Sony WH-1000XM6 headband ring, slider, and hinge repair on either side. The screwdrivers and pry tools also work for every other XM6 repair. The connectors do not fit the WH-1000XM5, WH-1000XM4, or earlier models. The headband ring and slider are sold separately in left and right.

Installation Notes

Difficulty: Advanced. To replace a cracked headband ring or slider, the original 12-pin connector on the headband wire has to be removed so the wire can pass through the hinge and the new ring and slider. Slide the clear guide tube over the bare wire ends to keep them together while you push them through, then fit the new 12-pin connector. Take photos as you take it apart so the wire routing goes back the same way.
