Steps to Replace your Apple AirPods Max Headband

Step 1: Remove the Ear Pads
1.1. Lift the magnetic ear pads off and set them aside.
1.2. Locate the small hole near the hinge on each side.
Step 2: Remove the Old Headband
2.1. Pull the hinge all the way down.
2.2. Use a SIM card removal tool to press into the hole gently.
2.3. Apply slight pressure while pressing down to release the headband.
2.4. Repeat for the other side and remove the headband completely.
Step 3: Install the New Headband and Reassemble
3.1. Align the new headband with the hinge slot, ensuring the correct orientation.
3.2. Insert it until you hear a click. Repeat on the other side.
3.3. Reattach the ear pads magnetically.
Step 4: Congratulations!
Great job! You’ve successfully replaced your AirPods Max headband. Your headphones are now good as new.
