Step 1: Extract the Broken, Cracked, or Torn Headband Cushion
Insert a strong metal pry tool into the seam between the headband cushion and the arch at one end and gently work the tool along the entire length of the headband until all the retaining clips pop out.
Ninja Repair Tip: Do not try to pull the headband out after popping out a couple of retaining clips as the headband cushion is prone to breaking at the center.
Step 2: Install a New Headband Cushion
2.1. Grab a new headband cushion and align with one end of the headband arch.
2.2. Use your fingers to press the retaining clips into place along the length of the new headband, working your way to the other side.
Essential Note: If the headband cushion breaks at the center, you may still be able to install it on the arch. Use a strong metal pry tool to lift the retaining clip on one side of the broken section, then position it over the corresponding lock on the headband arch. Repeat the process on the other side. Once both retaining clips at the broken section are locked into place, press down on the remaining clips until the rest of the headband cushion sits flush against the arch.
