Step-by-Step Guide to Replacing the Battery on Your Beats By Dre Studio Pro Wireless Headphones
Here is a step-by-step DIY guide for replacing the battery in your Beats by Dre Studio Pro Wireless Bluetooth headphones at home. Follow the instructions carefully to avoid damaging any delicate internal components.
Step 1: Locate the Battery
1.1 The battery is located in the right earcup: the side with the power button and the charging port.

Step 2: Remove the Circular Plastic Ring
2.1 Take the flathead screwdriver, part S2 1.0 from the 50-in-1 Joe’s Tool Kit, and place it firmly into the small notch in the circle ring.

2.2 Apply a bit of pressure to pry the circular plastic ring out and place it aside.

Step 3: Remove the Plastic Tab on the Right Earcup
3.1 Insert the flathead screwdriver under one side of the plastic tab and gently pry it out. If it feels like it’s going to break or bend, don’t worry, the plastic is durable.

Step 4: Remove the 4 Screws
4.1 Use the Phillips PH 00 2.0mm (S2) bit from the 50-in-1 Joe’s Tool Kit to remove the 4 screws and store them carefully in the slots provided in the anti-static work mat.

Step 5: Separate the Inner and Outer Plastic Shells
5.1 Insert the strong metal pry tool in the gap between the inner and outer shells and pry away to separate the two halves. You need to pry fast to avoid damaging the plastic panels.

Step 6: Straighten Out Any Bends in the Metal Railing
6.1 Use the pry tool to straighten out any bends in the metal railing along which the earcups slide and mold it back into its original form.

Step 7: Remove the Old Battery
7.1 Get underneath the old battery using a strong metal pry tool and pry it out from the plastic housing.

7.2 Remove the power board from the plastic outer housing of the earcup.

7.3 Apply gentle heat (~170°C) to the wire connector and the glue holding the cable in place using a heat gun or hair dryer. You don’t want to apply too much heat, or you risk melting the surrounding plastic.

Step 8: Install the New Battery
8.1 Plug in the new battery to the power board and make sure that it’s securely plugged in.

8.2 Remove the film to expose the adhesive and stick the battery to the plastic housing.

8.3 Push the wire into the grooves provided in the housing so that it stays securely in place. But be careful not to damage it.

Step 9: Reassemble Your Beats Studio Pro Wireless Headphones
9.1 Align the inner and outer panels with the metal railing, starting with the side that you pried open.

9.2 Flip the earcup to expose the gap on the other side. Clip the top part first, and then push the rest of the panel into place as hard and fast as you can so that the grooves clip in. Don’t go too slow, as you’ll damage the metal railing.

9.3 Test the slider to make sure it’s working normally.

9.4 Check for wires under the 4 screw holes and get them out of the way to avoid damaging them.

9.5 Install the 4 screws using the Phillips head 2.0mm screwdriver.

9.6 Align the indent on the circular plastic ring with that on the earcup and clip it into place.

9.7 Reinstall the plastic tab by aligning one side with the earcup and pressing the other end into place.
