2.3. Unplug the ribbon cable for the buttons from the PCB. Use a flathead screwdriver or precision tweezers to remove the adhesive patch covering the connector.

Step 3: Install a New Earcup Housing

3.1. Grab a new earcup housing, then connect the ribbon cable to the PCB. Put 1 drop of Joe’s cold press adhesive over the connector and let it cure for a few seconds to secure the ribbon.

3.2. Gently flip the earcup housing to align the screw holes, then fasten the 3 screws on the right side (or 2 screws on the left side)

Step 4: Reinstall the Earpad Cushion

4.1. Align the mesh with the earcup, then press down on both ends so that the double-sided tape sticks to the earcup housing.

4.2. Grab the earpad cushion and align the clips before pushing down with your fingers. Once you hear all the retaining clips click into place, give it a tug on all sides to confirm the earpad cushion is securely installed.
