Step 1: Extract the Right Earpad Cushion

The touch control panel is located on the right earcup. We will only disassemble the right earcup for this repair.

1.1. Insert a strong metal pry tool into the seam between the earpad cushion and the earcup, then gently work the tool along the perimeter till the two halves separate.

Step 2: Extract the Faulty Gesture Touch Pad

2.1. Unfasten 4 screws with a 1.5mm Phillips screwdriver.

2.2. Flip the earcup over, then pull the touch panel off and disconnect the ribbon cable.
