Steps to Replace Your Garmin Wristband
1. Push the pin out of the band using your pin tool
1.1: There is a small metal pin that holds each band into the housing of the watch. You can use a small metal tool to push the pin out of its place.
1.2: With the pins pushed in slightly, the band should slide out with a minimal amount of force on the side you pushed the pin out from. You may need to pull it out while you push the pin in.
1.3: Now repeat the steps for the other part of the wristband.
2. Clean Your Watch
Since it's not often that you will have the band removed from your watch, take a minute to clean it thoroughly with a rag and some rubbing alcohol.
3. Installing the new Wristbands
3.1: The shorter wristband with the clasp on it will attach to the top of the watch as shown below.
3.2: Slide the pin into the wristband piece.
3.3: Line the wristband up so that one side of the pin is in the small hole in the housing of the watch
3.4: Use your fingernail to push in the pin on the other side then slide the band into the housing of the watch. It may take a bit of wiggling to get the pin locked into place.
3.5: Repeat the steps for the bottom band and you're all done!
4. Get back to enjoying your watch 🤓
