The tools and parts that you will need for this repair:

  1. A New Kickstand

    1. Remove The Old Stand

    This is a pretty simple repair. The kickstand is only held in by a pin that is pressure fit into two dimples in the back housing. You can remove the old stand by lifting it, then applying pressure to one side until it pops out.

    2. Insert The New Stand

    There are two holes in the frame of the housing where the bumps on the new stand need to go.

    Line one of the bumps up with the hole in the housing then apply pressure to the stand so that the other side snaps down into its hole.
